Live your adventure | January | Stick It Down

I'm up on the Stick It Down Blog with my take on this month's sketch challenge. I'm on a mission to try and get some of my travel albums completed this year. Although with 2 trips likely in 2019 I'll have loads more to start scrapping with.

Fun times at the Dead Sea, Jordan.

October | Pretty My Page

I've been meaning to post these for months now but I get so behind on my blog because I'm always posting stuff on to Facebook and Instagram. Below are all my projects for Pretty My Page using their fab cut files.

#crazyboy | Stick It Down

This month's Single Page sketch layouts are u on the Stick It Down Challenge Blog

Boy did I find this month a challenge. The sketch was right up my street but they also collaborated with White with One and the one colour we could use was grey. I love colour so I found this really hard work, so much so that I put it off until the last minute.

However, saying that I really like the layout I have created. Totally outside my comfort zone but still my style.

Deep Griha | October Challenge | GoGo Getaway

Wow, the 1st October already! Over on the GoGo Getaway Blog we have Ester setting this month's challenge.

I managed to get a sample layout done for it this month and I love the Moodboard she created to use as inspiration.

I went for a colour on colour mix with the backing patterned paper and the embellishments that I clustered on top. I used up loads of old bits and pieces from my stash which makes me very happy.

I have to thank my lovely teamie Lisa who donated those lovely tiny Indian style gems that finished the layout off perfectly.

Favorite | GoGo Getaway

I'm up on the GoGo Getaway Blog today with this little cutie!

I've taken the teabag folding technique from the June Getaway and altered it to create a completely different layout.

Adventure | Stick It Down DT

I'm fortunate enough to have been chosen to be on the Stick It Down Design team and here is my first layout using their fantastic sketches.

I backed this great Paige Evans cut file with papers from the 6x6 Crate Paper Here + There paper pad.

I was really pleased with how the photos fitted in to the letters of the cut file.

I'm loving getting my travel albums up to date. Each time I scrap my trips it takes me right back to the time I was there.

Temple | NSD 2018

Hope you had a great National Scrapbooking weekend. I've not managed to get much scrapping done as I've been working nights.

I created an example for the GoGo Getaway sponsored challenge over on the 'For the love of pretty paper' UK scrapbooking Facebook group.

The challenge was in the form of a recipe so I collected my supplies before I started to create this page. Even though I had very limited supplies it's still very much my style. I've had these photos on my desk for ages and it feels so good to finally get them scrapped

What have you all been scrapping this weekend? Tag me on Instagram @terri_scraps to show me what you've created.

So Sweet | GoGo Getaway

I'm up on the GoGo Getaway Blog today with a layout showcasing my challenge from March's GoGo Getaway Scrapbooking Retreat. My challenge was technique based so I chose 'fussy cutting'. I love to fussy cut from patterned paper so it was the perfect challenge for me to set.

Don't forget to follow me on Facebook or Instagram to get up to date scrappy inspiration.

Guest Designer | The Wild Hare Kits

This month I was fortunate to be the Guest Designer over at The Wild Hare Kits. This kit company is different to any other I have ever known. You aren't 'subscribed' to the kit, you order them as and when you want them but they are individually curated by Alison especially to cater for your likes and style.

Below is the deluxe kit I was send and it fits me perfectly! I asked for supplies to allow me to scrap my recent travels and this kit was great.

I was able to create six 12x12 layouts and three 6x8 pocket pages with this kit. I still have plenty of left overs to use on future layouts. Here I'm sharing five of the 12x12 pages that have already been shared on social media.

I went for a vertical design incorporating lots of embellishments and banners cut from the Pink Paislee Paige Evans 'Pick me up' collection.

There were some bold green and yellow/rusty tones in some aspects of the kit so I embraced it in this layout documenting my fiancé and his love of steak.

This layout was part of a challenge with The Wild Hare Kits Design Team as this month they decided to scrap lift each other. I was assigned Clair Rigby (@obstinatepursuit) and loved the clean style of her layouts. I was drawn to one with multiple circles to scrap lift.

The layout above was the first I created with the kit. I used the monthly sketch over on the blog and I love how the added mixed media on the background grounds the photo.

I think this is my favourite layout made from the kit. I fussy cut all the moths from the 1canoe2 patterned paper to create this layout.

Thanks for reading my blog today. Don't forget to follow me on Facebook and Instagram for more scrapbooking and arty endeavours.

Quiet Moments | Turn the Page

I started this layout whilst at the GoGo Getaway in November 2017. I made the background but then lost inspiration so put it away for another time. I had completely forgotten about it until a few weeks ago when I found it in my pile of patterned paper.

This layout uses the Pink Paislee Paige Evans 'Turn the Page' collection. I really love the colour scheme in this collection but for some reason haven't used it as much as I thought I would.

This layout documents a morning in Lithuania when I was really sick. We spent the whole morning in the warmth of this café/bookshop. I even fell asleep on the bench for a while.

The snail is random but it is such a cutie that I wanted to add it poking out from under the teacup.

Fabulous View | GoGo Getaway

Can you believe it's the end of February already, I know, crazy right?! So I'm back sharing another of my Design Team layouts, this time for the fabulous GoGo Getaway.

I'm up on the GoGo Getaway Blog today with a layout all about colour coordination using the Glitter Girl collection from Shimelle. I've had fun doing something I love to do, fussy cutting patterned paper.

Clear the Desk Class | Take One

I've been a little MIA on the blog recently as I've been super busy since coming back from holiday. I joined Shimelle's new class Clear the Desk and had an unexpected free day yesterday so I played along for the whole day.

I've got loads of travel albums on the go so that was the main focus of the photos I chose. This layout is of the beautiful St Mary's Island at Mljet National Park, Croatia.

I collected together a few papers from older Simple Stories collections and some embellishments that co-ordinated with the papers. They mostly focus on summer scrapbooking but I've tailored it to use with my travel photos.

It worked really well with these cocktail photos from our most recent trip to Egypt.

The layout below was the first page I created and probably the hardest as like when you get a kit you have the most supplies to use at the beginning and its hard to see everything.

This layout will go along side the one below in my album so hopefully they should co-ordinate as they were created with the same supplies.

The layout above is probably my least favourite layout of the ones I created. But I do like how it looks like my other half is looking across to the other photo.

I love using large photos and it is something I do from time to time. I get my large photos printed 9x12 and often trim them down a little to create a thinner photo.

I've had the woodgrain paper I used below for such a long time it was great to get it finally used up.

I'm really happy with these pages and it was great to get some stories documented.

Happy Crafting
