~ Life in the way of blogging! ~

Unfortunately recent events have lead to a lack of blogging. A week ago my Nan passed away quite unexpectedly and then we have been hit by the worst snow I have ever seen! Therefore I slept at work and helped out.

But heres another little card to wet your apetite:

This card is made from the lovely Stamp club over @ Little Claire Designs. This was the first months kit I had received and absolutely love it!

I'm on holiday from work this week so hoping to get a few more cards made and gifts wrapped.

~ Its Christmas... (shouted in a Noddy Holder style!) ~

Well that's it the count down to christmas has begun!

From now until January I intend to blog my cards and crafty creations, presents will be blogged after the 25th to ensure no peeking by friends and family.

A couple of Tim Holtz style Christmas Cards. I really enjoy playing around with the distress inks. The green background was done using a mini mister and shabby shutters distress ink refill and water.

For this background I used barn door and fired brick, applied using a blending tool. I then sprayed it with water and dried with a heat tool.

Has everyone else started sending their Christmas cards?

Well as it's the first of December I would like to officially say 'Merry Christmas' to all those how read my little blog. Over the next 24 days I hope to show you my Christmas crafty endeavours whether it be cards or other little items. Then for 12 days after christmas I will show you my handmade gifts that have been given to friends and family.
