Wow, last week was such a crazy busy week for me. 2 scrapbooking retreats, a trip to London with my mum and a night away with the fella in between. Hopefully I will get chance to photograph all my pages from the retreats and get them on the blog in the next few weeks.
I had a fantastic time at the Like For Ever retreat held at The Woodlands @ Hothorpe Hall near Market Harborough. I was on the second weekend this year and the group was a little smaller so we had more space and it was slightly less noisy than the year before.
Again the setting was beautiful. Lodges and snugs set amongst the trees with a beautiful array of spring flowers dotted around.
There were 17 of us there for the whole weekend and the 2 class teachers (Jackie Ashton & Julie Taylor) joined us Friday - Saturday night.
It was great to catch up with Sarah who is on the GoGo Getaway Design Team with me and finally meet Chloe who I have followed on Instagram for a while now. Chloe and I were actually table buddies and had a surprising amount in common.
Nicola always goes the extra mile on these retreats and along with the lovely accommodation we had some lovely little gifts on our crop tables along with a goody bag that contained a 9x12 album.
I had a fantastic productive weekend and managed to win one of the challenges bagging myself a new 12x12 album.
If you ever get chance to go on a crafty retreat I would say jump at the chance. It is amazing to be around like minded groups of women.
Happy Crafting!
Terri
