Hello Beautiful | GoGo Getaway

Hi, I'm up on the GoGo Getaway Blog today with a layout using Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Bohemian Dreams' collection. The focus of this layout was to use the Bokeh technique from March's GoGo Getaway.

I'd forgotten how much I love a good grid layout, quite simple to put together but so effective.

I've had these Dear Lizzy key and keyhole metal embellishments for years. It was great to get them used on a page.

Temple | NSD 2018

Hope you had a great National Scrapbooking weekend. I've not managed to get much scrapping done as I've been working nights.

I created an example for the GoGo Getaway sponsored challenge over on the 'For the love of pretty paper' UK scrapbooking Facebook group.

The challenge was in the form of a recipe so I collected my supplies before I started to create this page. Even though I had very limited supplies it's still very much my style. I've had these photos on my desk for ages and it feels so good to finally get them scrapped

What have you all been scrapping this weekend? Tag me on Instagram @terri_scraps to show me what you've created.

So Sweet | UK Scrap Addicts

Hello there, I'm up on the UK Scrap Addicts blog with a monochromatic layout using black, white and yellow.

This is one of my favourite layouts ever. I love how bold the yellow is against the black.

Be sure to check out my other layouts over on Instagram and Facebook.

Love This | GoGo Getaway Monthly Challenge

Wow, I literally cannot believe we are in May already.  So glad my mojo is back in full swing, my silhouette cameo is behaving and I'm loving documenting my travel memories. I've got a couple of scrappy retreats next month which I'm super excited about.

Today I'm sharing my layout I created for the GoGo Getaway Monthly Challenge.

This month's challenge was to use a sketch created by Design Team member Lorraine. I love to use a sketch and always find it a fantastic jumping off point.

For this layout I've used a selection of products from various different Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Collections. I created a watercolour paint background using the packaging technique and pale colours.

I backed a few cut file florals with patterned paper from the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection but as they didn't stand out I used my black ink pen to draw round the inner areas of the cut file to make them bold.

Finishing off with a scattering of stars and sequins.

I'd love you to tag me (@terri_scraps) if you join in with this month's challenge.

Happy Scrapping!
